Pete’s Roofing makes roof replacement easy!
Many roofs will be replaced this year as a result of wind or hail damage. Others may be replaced simply because they are no longer serviceable.
If you have recently experienced high winds or a hailstorm we suggest a roof inspection. Many roofing companies in Wichita and roofing companies in Kansas offer inspections by salesmen but our inspectors are certified. By having your roof inspected by someone who has undergone certification, we can identify whether or not you have actual storm damage. Hail damage can result in fractured or punctured shingles which often result in leaks. Strong wings can displace entire shingles which compromise the entire roof system leaving your home vulnerable to further damage.
Some roofs simply need to be replaced because they have come to the end of their life cycle and others due to storm damage. Either way, contact us for your free inspection.

In some extreme cases, it will be obvious to you your roof needs replaced. Perhaps your yard is littered with shingles after a severe weather event. Maybe your walls or ceiling drywall are showing signs of moisture damage. In some cases, however, hail damage can be difficult to spot and requires a trained eye to view the singles up close.
Having a trained inspector shouldn’t cost you anything and will provide you the confidence and knowledge you need to make an informed decision based on the actual condition of your roof.
When Insurance is Involved
If it’s already been determined that a roof replacement is in order, an insurance claim may be needed. As your local Kansas roofing contractor, our team will work with both you and your insurance carrier to provide guidance through the entire insurance claim process. This way we can help make the entire process as easy as possible from start to finish.
It may sound counter-intuitive, but when insurance is part of the equation, the actual roof replacement is the easy part of our services. More effort is often spent behind the scenes processing the claim that the actual roof replacement itself. Our project manager will work with your insurance adjuster on your roofing project and also confirms the adjuster has accounted for all components, correct type, and square footage of singles. If we spot an error, we notify you and then work with your insurance company before any work is started to make sure you have a fair settlement. If needed, we can even provide the right documentation for mortgage company endorsements. We also pull the proper roofing permits with the proper governmental agencies.
The selected roofing materials are ordered and delivered by our vendors right onto your roof. Then on the big day, our installers remove the existing roof and install your beautiful new roof in its place. Once we’ve finished with the repair work, we clean the entire work area and request an inspection from the local building department. Our project managers will be involved in every step of the way to oversee everything goes smoothly with your roof replacement.
